Good size family rooms with large bathrooms enabling wheelchair access. The restaurant provides excellent food and is large enough for wheelchairs.  There is plenty of designated parking spaces for disabled drivers.

Bedruthan House Hotel - St Eval Nr Wadebridge 
Family run hotel with wheelchair friendly rooms.

  Churchtown Activity Centre - Lanlivery Nr Bodmin - Centre for adults and children with physical, sensory and learning disabilities. Self-catering lodges available.

  The Tranquil Otter - Carlisle (Highly Recommended)
Designed with disability in mind, seven secluded log cabins are situated next to a 20 acre lake.  The pathway around the perimeter is completely accessible by wheelchair. A powered boat is also available that is purpose built for wheelchairs (See Photo)

  Calvert Trust - Keswick - Fully accessible activity centre in the Northern Lake District.

  Thistle Hotel  - East Midlands Airport (Recommended)
Situated a stones throw from the airport. There is no lift but has purpose built disabled rooms on the ground floor.
This was the hotel we stayed in before our trip to Lapland with the When you wish upon a star charity group.

  Blagdon Farm Cottages - Beaworthy - Self catering cottages designed to be disabled friendly.

Calvert Trust - Exmoor - Fully accessible activity centre on the edge of Exmoor.

Crowhurst Park - Hastings - Pine lodge holiday park with a special lodge for people with disabilities.

   
Little Bench & Bench Cottage - Lymington - Two fully accessible self-catering bungalows with equipment including hoists, shower chair and more.

The Kingswood Centre - Isle of Wight - (Recommended) The UK's leading centres for education and adventure.  Matthew visited this centre with his school for a week in June 2007, and thoroughly enjoyed it.  The staff were more than happy to ensure he was able to participate in most activities one way or another. We did have to provide a carer for Matthew's personal and toileting needs.  The carer was provided with her own accommodation throughout the week.  We had to work closely with the Development Manager of the Kingswood Group to discuss his individual requirements.

    Whitehouse Hotel - Kegworth (Recommended)
Good size family rooms with large bathrooms enabling wheelchair access. 
 
A lift is provided to gain access to different floors. The restaurant provides excellent food and is large enough for wheelchairs.  Ideal location for the National Space Centre and The Attenborough Nature Reserve on the River Trent (see Fun Days Out)

Le Meridien - Gatwick Airport Hotels - Wheelchair access.

  The Hytte - Bingfield Nr Hexham  (Highly recommended) - A four bedroom accessible self-catering holiday cottage with fully accessible shower and toilet. An electric hoist is also provided.

  Calvert Trust - Kielder - (Recommended) Fully accessible activity centre in the magnificent Northumberland countryside.  The large wooden chalets are well maintained and provide full accessibility to toilets, bath, showers and kitchens.  The bedroom also has a tracked ceiling hoist.
 

Stonelands Farmyard - Litton Nr Skipton (Highly Recommended)
Very tranquil location.  Ground floor cottages have ramps for wheelchair access.

 
The Halfway House Inn Country Lodge - Nr Yeovil - Disabled suite including connecting double bedroom for carer.
 

Holiday Inn - Stoke on Trent M6 Junct 15 - (Recommended) - Good size family rooms with large bathrooms enabling wheelchair access. The restaurant provides excellent food and is large enough for wheelchairs.  A swimming pool with Jacuzzi is available to all residents.  An outdoor play area consisting of slide, swings and Climbing Frames is also available.  There is plenty of designated parking spaces for disabled drivers.

St Andrews Lodge Hotel - Chichester - Purpose built wheelchair room can accommodate two wheelchair users.

Heath House - Ossett - Bed & Breakfast accommodation with three wheelchair accessible rooms on the ground floor.

  The Old Stables - Salisbury - Offering excellent facilities for the disabled with sliding doors and wheel in showers.

Starline Marine - Upton-upon-Severn - Wide beam boat holidays for the disabled.
