I recently
had to deal
with a claim
for Disability
Living
Allowance
for my
husband who
has since
died.
I found the
qualifying
periods of 3
and 6 months
before any
payments
would become
due to be a
ridiculous
ruling, and
I believe
these should
be scrapped.
Disabled
people and
their carers
need the
financial
help of DLA
from the
date at
which they
become
disabled not
months down
the line.
I have
therefore
started a
campaign to
have these
rules
revoked. You
